Face wrinkles treatments vary according to their nature and where they are applied.
- Upper face wrinkles (forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet) are called dynamic wrinkles as they are formed by the repeated contraction of the face’s expression muscles. For these the prescribed treatment is butolinum toxin orBotox®.
- Lower face wrinkles (nasolabial folds, oral commissures, perioral lines) are called static wrinkles as they are present when the face is resting. For these the prescribed treatment is an injection of fillers, amongst which hyaluronic acid.
In both cases, for the treatment of lower or upper face wrinkles, products used are biodegradable and the effect reversible if the treatments are not regularly maintained.
